Sezione CAI di Arsago Seprio

The C.A.I. of Arsago has adopted their own emblem, it is a circle with the letters CAI written around the sides. It is green, with two light blue stars. The words Arsago Seprio are written in the centre circle in red, which is inside the bell tower of the Cathedral of San Vittore. Built at the beginning of the 12th century, it is toad green in colour, with mountain gear climbing the walls. The residents of Arsago are also known as "sciatt"(toads). The name originated from an invasion of toads in 1600, apparently coming from swamps in the north of the town.
